Dear Potential Home Owner,
Thank you for your interest in "winning" our home. I purchased my very first house (this house you see on the website) about 6 years ago. I was a single mother of two amazing kids. We love our home and our neighbors. It has been such a wonderful place for my kids to grow up. We have neighborhood get-togethers, picnics and holiday events. My kids used to walk to the neighborhood elementary school with their friends each morning and afternoon. This house was perfect for us. After 9 years of being a single mother I recently married a wonderful man. With our expanding family and this new life we've started, my husband and I wanted a fresh start to own our first home together. With the saturated market we were thinking of a creative idea to "sell" our house. Through some featured stories and websites we came across other home owners with the same idea ... "creative ways to sell their homes" ... and it worked! I partnered with Contestreet.com to advertise and market this new concept. I know it is something new and not yet been done here in Texas, so we thought we would give it a shot.
We really hope the "winner" and next family that moves in here will love and care for the house as much as we did.
Good luck!!!

About the House
Imagine this is your home. You are driving home after a long day. When you pull into you community you see lush parks, kids playing and the community pool is calling to you. As you hit the button to open the right side of your two car garage, your neighbor waves hello as they are watering their grass. You walk into the house and see your large kitchen. As you put you things on the table in the breakfast area attached to the kitchen, you walk through the patio doors to a large back deck overlooking a big green backyard. This is a great yard with many possibilities. But all you can think about is taking a break in your living room, in that cozy chair by the fireplace, to watch some TV.
After you are done watching TV, you head upstairs, walk past the loft space where you keep your office, walk down the hall past two extra bedrooms and walk in to your huge master suite. Here, the biggest decision you need to make is to take a bath in the large garden tub or to shower in the separate, glass enclosed shower. You brush your teeth in one of the two sinks in the double vanity, put your shoes away in the big walk-in closet and cozy up in bed. Here is where you fall asleep looking out the huge picture window.
